Details
The Everglades area offers amazing fishing throughout the year. However, the species you can catch may vary depending on the time of year. In fall and winter, when things start to cool off, you can target Snook and Redfish. The area is less frequented this time of the year, and it’s the best time to relax and enjoy yourself. Spring and summer are also really good, of course, this is when Tarpon are at their best. This is the time to target those trophy ones.

Fish With Experts
Family Friendly Fishing Charters loves to show this unique fishery to both the beginner angler and the most experienced anglers alike. We strive to share our enthusiasm and expertise with other fishing enthusiasts while exploring one of the best fisheries on the Florida coast. Fishing the 10,000 Islands is unique in that there is much less pressure on the waterways than most guided Florida fishing areas. Because of its tough navigation, most recreational anglers often cannot fish this area alone as the waters are very shallow, and studded with oyster bars.
What To Expect
- Snook
- Tarpon
- Redfish
- Black Drum
- Grouper
- Ladyfish
- Spotted Sea Trout
- Sheepshead
- And More!
WHAT WE RECOMMEND
The Everglades is a unique ecosystem in our part of the world, and exploring the Everglades is truly something out of the ordinary. Fishing in this area is about as varied as it can get. There’s something for everyone here!
